JOB TITLE: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Duties include: Responsible for the reliability, security and efficiency the cloud environments and products that comprise Enterprise Imaging solutions; Participate in the Cloud Operations team activities including continuous delivery, configuration changes and performance monitoring; Manage and monitor cloud resources utilization and cost; Work as a software tools developer in the cloud operations team; Define and drive automation of cloud operations and deployment using different toolset; Define and drive implementation of Cloud Operations procedures; Define and implement effective and reliable cloud infrastructure; Define, implement methodology and toolset for fully automated infrastructure management as a code; Serve as the company’s subject matter expert to support other teams for purposes cloud technologies, operations, and DevOps methodology; Plan, implement, monitor, and test systems and procedures for best practice Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR); Operate, scale, and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure for the cloud-based platform and all components within; and Provide 24x7x365 shift-based support with rotating on-call. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following: 

• Programming in platforms Python and Node.js.
• Administration of cloud infrastructure and deployed applications for enterprise SaaS and PaaS companies in public clouds GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Administration of IT systems including computer, network, storage, and general access control.
• Automated delivery and configuration tools in Gitlab - CI/CD or Jenkins - CI/CD.
• Scripting in languages PowerShell and Bash.
• DevOps tools and environments such as Terraform, Jenkins, Git, Docker and Ansible.
• Linux/Windows operating systems and tools.
• Centralized logging in StackDriver, ELK, and Splunk services.
• Monitoring tools in Grafana, Kibana, and Zabbix.

RATE OF PAY: $133,574 - $184,250 / per year
